“Terribile en la sua belleza
Broken statues, columns and a throne devoured by fire, ruins of an imaginary world.
Structures that are created and destroyed, creation and destruction, one cannot live without the other, unsuspected longings and devoured dreams are reflected in the burning remains. Something magical about art is that it connects us with the most basic forms of human expression.
They are like reference points that I try not to recreate but to explore. Beyond statements or narratives, I try to express emotions that generate their own meaning in each viewer.
My goal is to find new visual pathways and an exploration of the purpose of the painting itself.
