Fiesta en el jardín

For this painting I had a very big and somehow non inspiring stain to work with. When this happens sometimes I use pastel colors to make a sketch to have an idea. When I started painting with oil I realized that on some parts the pastel colors looked better than the oil ones and decided to leave them. I had some epoxy resin plaques that looked like eyes, I tried on the painting and looked very well, even funny. I actually laughed at my studio by myself. I had some more resin plaques and tried them around. This was a key moment for me because from then on most of my painting have this feature.

I see a lot of crazy creatures having fun in a crazy way and this gave me the clue for the name.
