BIOGRAPHY

My work is rooted in material, memory, and emotion. Trained in Industrial Design and Visual Arts at FAAP in São Paulo and with a Master’s in TESOL from Westcliff University, my practice bridges disciplines, bringing together design thinking, education, and fine art to explore the tensions between structure and impermanence.

Working primarily in acrylic painting, cotton thread sculpture, and drawing, I focus on surface, form, and spatial dialogue. Each piece invites viewers to engage with both the physical texture and the conceptual undercurrents, often drawing on personal and collective narratives. Recent studies through the Museum of Modern Art’s online learning community have deepened my engagement with abstraction, particularly postwar aesthetics and their emotional resonance.

I have exhibited in solo and group shows across Brazil, the United States, and Latin America, including Impermanence (2024, São Paulo), Rhythms of Color and Form (2025, Art3 Gallery), Frida and Beyond (2019, Florida), and with the AmLa Collective in Bolivia. These exhibitions reflect an ongoing commitment to experimentation and dialogue with contemporary art audiences.

Since 2011, I’ve led my creative space, Pablanco Atelier, where I develop projects that merge fine art and design, and support collaborative exploration. My work aims to create environments that evoke curiosity, intimacy, and layered interpretation.
