BIOGRAPHY

Every moment, every second leaves a mark on our lives. Sometimes it is too short for us to see it. One day it will reveal itself. Every event matters and has a deep meaning. Every gesture and movement. It all builds us up, and thus builds our world… but do each of us live in the same world, side by side? What if there are different dimensions to this world and others? I believe in something more than our world. The depth of every being has always been most important to me. The meaning of even superficial things and that everything has its place, time and meaning. When I paint different worlds in my paintings, I feel as if I am painting Home…. Something beyond our dimension. For a very long time I lived in the belief that you have to be a master to be able to share your art with the world…. Forgetting that everyone is valuable because they are different. And this otherness I want to cultivate in my works. What is valuable is that no one is the same. When I paint, I often use the bending of the frames themselves or the tearing of the canvas to show the continuity of change and to give life and possibility to evaluate the work. Nothing is permanent, even hidden and unseen things affect the whole. Each damage brings another story, creates another reaction. The main technique is marker and acrylic on canvas.
