BIOGRAPHY
I was born and live in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg but I always have been closed from my french origins of which the culture leaded me to the Belle Epoque and Art Nouveau movement, my source of inspiration being artists like Alfons Mucha, Victor Horta and Hector Guimard.
Drawing with my sensitivity and passionate by this artistic movement who became my guided thread, I inspire myself on elements like womanhood, the floral aspect and arabesques.
Some of feminine portrait are made solely with black Indian Ink and others are made with black Indian Ink and Acrylic paintings, both technics are executed on a thick paper.
the style and the structure are the base of my artworks. Thus, I draw ornament with a central subject, the woman, including a play of symmetry to create a frame illusion.
I have the idea to create and re-create; while being inhabited by this era, I add my own aestheticism and share my universe.
