STATEMENT
Since I was a child, I’ve seen characters emerge from any stain, texture, or accidental mark. I see and perceive them daily. Using the techniques of drawing and painting, I bring them out from these parallel dimensions. They are like layers stacked one on top of the other, made with acrylic or recycled materials, where I then apply pigment, color, or a reference to reality.
This is how my creations are born I let myself be carried away by a feeling, which then starts to take o n a life of its own. I work on all of them simultaneously. Some seem to perform a kind of ritual, while others simply pose and reveal themselves.
These creations come to life in the early hours of the morning during a calm and consistent rhythm of work. It’s along this creative path that I feel truly alive. I believe I’m only just beginning to interpret my own version of what we call reality.
