BIOGRAPHY
Dyana Rebecca is a Miami-based painter working primarily in acrylic and mixed media. Originally from New York, she has also lived in Washington, D.C., and the greater Chicago area, experiences that continue to inform her perspective on place, memory, and change. Her abstract paintings are inspired by the emotional textures of everyday life and emerge through an intuitive process shaped by movement, music, and gesture. Dyana maintains an active studio practice in Miami.

STATEMENT
Through color, movement, and abstraction, I explore the emotional textures that shape daily life. Guided by gestures that echo childhood hours at the piano, each painting becomes a record of a physical conversation between memory, movement, and emotion. I seek to create a sense of recognition for something familiar yet difficult to name.
