BIOGRAPHY
Carmen De Alba was Born in Queretaro, Mexico on 31st October 1991.
She is the youngest in a family of 3 sisters, she is married with Jeronimo Sanchez, and had 1 son (Cayetano) and 1 daughter (Elena).
Carmen is passional, sensitive and a very creative person, she loves to travel around the world and get to know new cultures, food, traditions; that’s what inspire her to create new things and help her to see a different points of views.
She studied fashion design and had Academy Diploma’s in architecture landscape design, interior design and Art History.
She has always been in contact with art, participating in different collective exhibitions in her hometown and creating works of painting on canvas and sculpture.

STATEMENT
Carmen De Alba’s work explores the emotional and intuitive side of the human experience through a figurative, naïf, and brut approach.
Her paintings blend simplicity and raw expression, revealing a poetic tension between innocence and depth. With bold colors, symbolic forms, and a spontaneous technique, Carmen transforms everyday moments into conceptual reflections on identity, emotion, and the subconscious.
Each piece becomes an honest visual language — direct, imperfect, and profoundly human.
