BIOGRAPHY

Braulio Matos, born in Panama in 1968, studied drawing, painting and ceramics at the Panamanian Institute of Arts, then continued his formation as a painter at the Panamanian University of Art Ganexa. Braulio’s work constantly evolves, however its based, always themed, well-defined sets with magical creatures, angles, nymphs, lianas, include every detail and irregular mazes full of little symbols. His background colors capture all the magic enclosed in the artwork. Braulio paints in oil on canvas, paper and wood and its style can be called magical realism. He has participated in solo and joint auctions, contests, art fairs, seminars and courses. He is one of the most recognizable Panamanian artists worldwide.
