BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Bogotá Colombia and grew up in a family rich in artistic talent. I earned a college degree in Art and Philosophy, which has deeply influenced my perspective on life. I spent many years working in the world of fashion where I developed a passion for color and creativity that continues to inspire me today. I am married with three wonderful children and nine beautiful grandchildren. For the past 24 years I have lived in Miami a city that I love for its vibrant energy and warm climate. I enjoy an active lifestyle, with a love for exercise, outdoor living and being near the ocean where I find joy in the natural beauty around me.

STATEMENT
I draw inspiration from the vibrant colors of my tropical roots and Miami’s lively surroundings. I’m not as concerned with capturing subject matter exactly as you see it, but instead, I focus on capturing feeling and meaning. Painting gives me peace, joy and a profound opportunity to celebrate the beauty of life around me.
