BIOGRAPHY

Alma Faham is an Arab American contemporary artist whose work explores themes of spirituality, memory, nostalgia, and human connection through abstract and mixed-media painting. Born and raised in Kuwait, she later lived in Jordan, Greece, and the United States, experiences that shaped her appreciation for diverse cultures and artistic traditions. Faham holds a degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Jordan, and her work often reflects a balance between structural composition and emotional expression. Since 2015, she has participated in exhibitions, cultural events, and artist interviews. Drawing inspiration from deeply personal moments and experiences that leave a lasting impression on the soul, her work invites viewers to reflect, feel, and connect.

Exhibited in the United States and Jordan, including solo exhibitions in Jordan, Connecticut, and Virginia.2025, 2026 Artwork selected as the official poster for the United Nations Music Chamber’s Arabic Language Day Celebration Concert at Carnegie Hall in NY. Selected exhibitions include the Bridgeport Art Trail, Resilience, Reflection, and Revelations at Wilton Library, Gallery 25 in New Milford, and the Jordanian American Friendship Day exhibition at the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Washington, DC.

STATEMENT

My work is inspired by the emotions, memories, and experiences that shape our lives. Through abstract and mixed-media painting, I explore themes of spirituality, nostalgia, and human connection, inviting viewers to reflect, interpret, and discover their own stories within each piece.
