In this solo exhibition, Susana Saman invites us to travel through a pictorial universe where color is the absolute protagonist. The
artist articulates a singular dialogue between landscapes and nature, revealing a deep reflection on the sensorial and emotional
experience of the natural environment. Although her works are based on recognizable references such as the sea and flowers,
many of them venture into realms of abstraction, blurring the boundaries between the figurative and the intangible.
Through a bold and vibrant palette, Saman captures the untamed force of the ocean and the ephemeral delicacy of flora, without his
intention being merely representational. In his work, nature is not an object to be described, but an inexhaustible source of shapes
and colors that find, on the canvas, a new expressive dimension.
Abstraction, in this sense, is not a rupture with reality, but a deepening of its essence, seeking the sublime in the everyday.
This body of work challenges the viewer’s perception, proposing a visual journey in which color and pictorial gesture are the true
axes of the composition. The fragmentation and simplification of the forms invite a contemplative experience that transcends what
is represented, opening the way to an emotional reading of nature.
In Susana Saman’s works, the transformation from the concrete to the abstract becomes a way of deep connection with the
environment, emphasizing the evocative power of color as a central element.
