Born in 1966 in Münster/Westphalia/Germany – studies and traineeship for the subjects German, mathematics and art – working as a primary school teacher – creative work is the common thread in my life – so also in my freelance work as a rehabilitation therapist and in the artistic field.

motivation

… I photograph to be able to transform …

the design process

I take photographs in order to create something new with the help of my photos; the ever-growing pool of photos is like a ‘paintbox’ – I draw from it, mix, cut and paint on a digital basis.

The focus of my creative work is not on the photography itself, but rather on the ‘transformation’ of the photographic material I have created into new worlds of images with their own unique ‘radiance’.
