I am a Vienna-based artist working primarily with photography, a medium that I find most compelling because of its ability to capture, transform and question the way we perceive reality.

STATEMENT
My work explores the relationship between subject, image and perception. It begins with real motifs – bodies, landscapes, plants and movement – which are removed from their original contexts through enlargement, isolation, blur and technical processes.
Photography is understood not as a neutral form of representation, but as a process of selection and transformation, in which familiar subjects become unfamiliar and forms begin to lose their clarity.
The works move between documentation and construction, presence and disappearance.
