BIOGRAPHY
Born in Hamburg, Germany, I’m now living in Luxemburg for over twenty years. I always loved paintings as well as to paint. I’m mostly a self-taught artist, who worked realistically in the beginning. Only over the years I learned that in abstract art I can better express myself and today more or less all my works are abstract paintings. These abstract landscapes reflect my love for colour and nature. And that’s also where I get my inspiration from. All my paintings are my inspiration translated to the canvas to create a communication with the viewer.

STATEMENT
Art is a means for me to show and pass on my love of nature. With my paintings I create something by myself that reflects my impression of nature and its many and always changing colours. I love to experiment with many colour combinations, so that my artwork becomes extraordinary. Colours are important for me, because they are also able to show the full range of human emotions and experiences.
The process is as important as the subject to me. I want to bring joy to other people just by looking at my works and losing themselves in it. The dialogue between the different colours could inspire the viewers to reflect and to bring something of themselves – their imagination- to make the painting complete.
