BIOGRAPHY
Born and educated in Berlin. Since some members of the family were artistic, I came into contact with art at a very early age and was influenced by it. Even in elementary school, I illustrated works and often came under the suspicion that I hadn’t drawn them myself. And so art accompanied me all my life.
The studies of art/graphic design and art education were made more difficult by the birth of my two children. A few changes of location followed. During my time in Worpswede, I was involved in a car accident and broke my right upper arm. The restoration of the functionality of the arm interrupted my artistic activity. Because of the lack of fine motor skills, I worked out the water pictures with the airbrush.
After that, I was able to draw again without restrictions and develop the works with the paint roller.

STATEMENT
My art:
With a paint roller, pictures of architecture and city views are created,
which can visualize the atmosphere of a city, for example, through generous application of paint.
Since I like to draw in great detail, painting with a paint roller was a good idea so that I didn’t get too caught up in the details. e.g. collage, homage to Lempicka, “neu-wind”.
The “water paintings” are made with the airbrush and watercolor, whereby the paper and its processing play an important role, so the paper is brought to life through the processing.
The monotypes also allow a freer style of painting.
