BIOGRAPHY
Born in Bolzano, Italy, in 1948, Raimund Prinoth developed a passion for drawing and painting at an early age. He later refined his artistic skills through courses in watercolor, composition, and oil painting under renowned artists Carol Wilde, Ivo Mahlknecht, Gotthard Bonell, and Chiro Saetti. His work reflects a lifelong dedication to artistic expression and a deep appreciation for color and form. Prinoth lives in Signat, a small village in the wine-growing hills near Bolzano, South Tyrol, and is a member of the Association of Artists of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano.

STATEMENT
My work is inspired by the beauty of the landscape and the ever-changing moods of the mountains. I am fascinated by the interplay of light and shadow, which transforms nature from moment to moment. Alongside landscapes, I explore portraits, nude studies, and still lifes, seeking to capture the beauty, harmony, and expressive power of form in all its variations.
