BIOGRAPHY
ARTkipC is a French painter and architect born in 1978.
His work is distinguished by colorful, and geometrically precise canvases. His technique, which is based on the use of acrylic paint to create flat areas of color surrounded by thick black lines, results in a exploration of plans and sections, inviting the eye to explore unique visual spaces. These black lines are not simple separations, but sectional planes delimiting spaces, thus creating a dynamic play between perspective, axonometry, and plans, a reflection of his training as an architect.
Each painting is animated by the presence of a little girl drawn with a childish line, a reminiscence of a drawing made by her own daughter at the age of three. This innocent figure embodies joy, innocence and youth, while signing each work in an authentic and personal way.
ARTkipC’s paintings are not isolated entities; they connect to each other to form a global, constantly evolving world, parallel to the artist’s life journey. This imaginary world, constructed canvas by canvas, is imbued with the emotions and significant memories of his life, notably the death of his parents, the starting point of his artistic adventure. Each brushstroke is an attempt to capture the essence of life, expressed through bold shapes and expressive colors.
Stepping back, we discover that each canvas subtly reveals faces or bodies, inviting each observer to interpret and appropriate the work in a personal way.
