BIOGRAPHY
Osvaldo Bacman, was born in La Plata, Argentina and showed an early inclination for painting , attending courses at the Superior School of Fine Arts belonging to the National University of La Plata.
Since 1976 he resides in Germany, the last 15 years in the city of Cologne.
In 2015 Osvaldo Bacman began with a new series of works in acrylic on canvas “ THE MYSTERY OF GEOMETRY “. Presenting his works in various Art Galleries and Art Fairs such in New York, Miami, Paris, Vienna, Roma, Florence, Barcelona, Basel , etc.
One of his works is in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Mézières en Brenne, France, after having obtained the 1st Prize at MEBAC 92.
With the Steiner Gallery, Bacman will present his artworks in a solo exhibition at the SAATCHI GALLERY, London, October 2021

STATEMENT
Geometry in art is a mystery based on elements , surfaces and planes that slowly emerge from nothing and then submerge in magical form, until they disappear.
Geometry is a mystery that has its own language, an abstract expression, expressing a different reality than your own. It is the intellectual expression of the world that surrounds us, geometric structures that make of squares, rectangles, cubes, triangles, etc.
Geometry is also an independent expression, because it has a life of its own, that is permeated with rhythm, movement and constant an generates an intense dynamic. It shows a process of interaction between irritation and harmony, creates images that suddenly appear and disappear.
It makes the invisible , visible.
