BIOGRAPHY
Nikita Belovs (born Jan.1995) is a multidisciplinary artist born in Riga,Latvia.
He works in the mediums of painting and photography. The artworks are predominantly experimental in their nature. His creative process is based on few general ideas: exploration of his inner self, surrounding world and constant improvisation.

STATEMENT
Nikita Belovs starts from his personal and transformative experiences, and from how these have been able to offer him new keys to reading the world.
For Nikita, art becomes a mean about people, situations, the unshakeable certainties that inhabit his daily life, reaching surprising interpretations. The sense of experience is undeniably intimate.
Artist’s research focuses on this double track: on the one hand the desire to go beyond the simple appearance of things, but on the other hand this research can lead to unexpected results, sometimes surprising and mysterious.
