BIOGRAPHY
Mila Didenko was born in Poltava in 1971 in the central-eastern part of Ukraine in a family of artists and a military man. Such a duality of influences gave Didenko an unusual, but originally intriguing pictorial language that tells about the nuances of her life in Ukraine.
Mila began drawing extensively from an early age, exposed to many a mixture of sights, sounds, and culture—she spent several of her formative years in Damascus, Syria, where her father was an officer. The warm bright sky left a strong impression on the creative expression of Mila, who is concerned with balance, light and warmth in relation to oneself and between people.
After returning to Ukraine, she attended the Poltava Art School. The harsh realities of the collapse of the Soviet Union led her to study finance and make a career in a distribution company. However, she never betrayed her admiration; The pandemic allowed her to revive her true artistic voice.
