BIOGRAPHY
Marta Lastra’s work is a walk through the different places where she has lived, a very particular look at the environment, specially natural. Build the space with experience, take photos, draw, paint, accumulate images.
She participates in all the expressive elements at his disposal and uses plastic resources such as the incorporation of collage or superimposed planes, while exploiting the expressiveness of painting and the reality of photography.
It unites real life with a created life. It is a landscape in which there are areas that the artist decides to be there and areas that she decides to eliminate; abstract zones and real zones.
His work proposes a meditation to the viewer. It seeks to unite all spaces into one: its own.
