BIOGRAPHY
Marlene is an abstract artist from Singapore who specializes in mixed media art, which consists of a unique blend of acrylic paints, textured mediums, spray paints, and inks. She has been painting and exploring different mediums and techniques from a young age as it has always been an important form of self-expression. In 2020, when Marlene started exploring art full-time, it opened a new door of fulfilment and joy for her. Since then, she has been working mostly on custom orders and is committed to honing her skills and expanding her artistic repertoire.

STATEMENT
Inspired by the natural world, my art often incorporates nature and cosmic elements in unexpected ways. I work highly intuitively to display a dynamic interplay of colour, textures and movement to capture the transient essence of a memory, mood or experience.
