BIOGRAPHY
Lucio Carbeli F. B. is a self-taught visual artist and painter of Chilean-Italian heritage, based in Santiago, Chile. He works in abstract watercolor, acrylic on canvas, and film, constructing a visual cosmogony where abstract expressionism, European informalism, and Mediterranean and Latin American devotional iconography converge into his own unique language. His work explores impermanence, the life force of color, and the transcendence of human experience. He has exhibited in Santiago, Rome, Milan, and Berlin. His work is available on Artsy via Galería Azur Berlin. He signs his work as Lucio Carbeli FB.
