STATEMENT
The focus of my art is landscape painting, inspired by my internal delight and experiences in nature. I often start painting outdoors – “plein air” works on paper – followed by studio work series on canvas. The basic idea is the artistic interpretation of nature by reducing realism to its main essence: colour fields, concise lines, structures. I use colour pigments on primed and un-primed canvas.
