BIOGRAPHY
My name is Justyna Kubica and I live in Cracow (Poland).
My works presented at Galeria Azur are some of the pages of my diary, the possible lines of my biography, which I write down when I’m painting. They are a record of the days, they are about searching for my place in the world, a space for my thoughts and observations. Places, objects, people, nature, play of light, colours. I like to be amazed by everyday life.

Education:
-Artistic bachelor’s degree in Bielsko-Biała, specializing in Textiles.
-Master in Fine Arts at the University of Silesia, specializing in Painting, Drawing and Graphic Arts.

-Top twenty young painters in Poland in the Promotions competition, Ministry of Culture and Art of Poland

STATEMENT
Art is the way of taking part, of being in the right place to measure the distance between objects and me. The exact moment just before becoming someone else, something true.
Art is breathing: you don’t even pay attention when it happens.
