BIOGRAPHY
I am Juan Carlos Flores, also known as “Jc Artist,” a multidisciplinary visual artist from Barcelona who blends Pop Art, Street Art, and contemporary abstraction. My work revives the aesthetic energy of the ’80s and ’90s by integrating recognizable iconography with a vibrant explosion of color.
I am a self-taught artist, a creator born out of the need to express myself—to shout out in vibrant colors what I feel, think, and experience.
Portraits, icons, and abstract compositions coexist in a visual universe where color and urban flair take center stage.

STATEMENT
My goal is to bring to life the child within us all, an intention I bring to life in my works, which are inspired by vivid memories of the ’80s and ’90s and pop culture, and which appeal to collective memory and spontaneity.
My artistic language combines sensitivity and strength. Beneath the playful exterior lies a reflection on identity, popular culture, and generational experience. My work connects with the viewer through nostalgia and energy, building a bridge between the past and the present. A painting is not just a surface; it is an emotional catalyst that triggers memories and sensations.
I believe in the need for an artist to showcase their art and what they have to contribute to the global art scene.
