STATEMENT

Transience in its contrast to the ineffable and unchanging is at the core of my work. As in the theme of Ecclesiastes, everything is impermanent and fades. References to clouds, smoke, glare, withered flowers and foliage, all of which are temporary and vanish, suggest emergence, submergence, ascent, descent and slippage of life: vanitas
