BIOGRAPHY
Helina Menning is an artist and interior designer living and working in Estonia. In H. Menning’s creative self-expression, the disciplines of interior architecture, design and painting mix. She is convinced that art is a part of interior design that helps to complement and value the reality in a particular interior.
The expression of my inner creativity and feelings in my paintings is characterized by an abstract, expressive style, mixed media and a textured painting surface. Painting is a need for me and I get impulses for it from my feelings, emotions, from different style of interiors or from what I see and experience. However, the biggest source of inspiration is nature itself. I’m fascinated by natural stones and rocks that are shaped by nature and constantly changing over time. Often these surfaces are reproduced on my canvas.
