BIOGRAPHY

I started painting when I was about twenty-three and I focused above all on emotional expressiveness. It finds my form through the material layers that initially begin lighter and become increasingly more pronounced. I mainly use acrylic and oil colors on classic canvases. At a later stage I began to make the canvas the protagonist of the work and to make the other parts of the painting take a back seat. The base thus becomes the most important layer. A layer specially assembled with pieces of denim and waste textile materials. Shapes, colors and materials are hand -sewn and then processed with colors to create the final result.

STATEMENT

Mine is a type of expressive and abstract art. a momentary emotional outburst that slowly takes shape, being first sensed deeply and then understood through the canvas. My art tries to convey the truth to everyone, because when you look at it it must make you understand the hidden and unconscious emotions that lie within each of us. I create art because everything around us is full of it, you just need to extrapolate its essence and bring it to everyone’s eyes.
