Federico Vezzaro is an Italian artist who began his research on the oxidation process in 2008, in total solitude and completely self-taught. Coming from the design sector and with a passion for the use of natural raw materials, Vezzaro developed a revolutionary technique over the years, culminating in 2022. This completely natural technique allows for the creation of vibrant and stable colors over time using only acid, without the addition of pigments or other ingredients. His first international solo exhibition was held in Brooklyn on November 9, 2024, capturing the attention of the global art scene. Rust is a central element in his works, symbolizing the generation of color and the continuous metamorphosis of matter. With a distinctive and unmistakable style, Vezzaro arouses curiosity by exploring themes of renewal and rebirth.

STATEMENT
My art explores the hidden beauty in natural processes and the transformation of matter. I dedicate myself to studying oxidation, capturing the essence of time and metamorphosis. My work reflects nature’s ability to regenerate, with colors springing from the material itself. I believe that within each of us lies a universe of colors to be brought out without fear. My goal is to stimulate curiosity and reflection, presenting themes of renewal and rebirth with a distinctive style.
