BIOGRAPHY
Courtenay McCue is a multidisciplinary artist based in Australia, exploring nostalgia, memory and symbolism. Working across ceramic, large-scale paintings, installation, and textiles, Courtenay’s vibrant, dreamlike practice unfolds intuitively through processes of adding, removing and reimagining. Each work becomes a form of self-portraiture, combining personal narratives with ambiguity and inviting viewers to form their own connections. The final outcome is never predetermined; instead, the act of making becomes central to the work, allowing intuition and experimentation to guide the process and embracing the unknown.
