BIOGRAPHY
Christiane Bernais is a French painter and sculptor who was born in the south of France where she continues to live .After artistic studies at the Avignon Art School, she now works alone and freely in her studio.
In front of a white canvas or a piece to sculpt, she abandons herself to her passion. His spontaneity and imagination guide his brushes and hands with great energy.
This artist does not wish to lock herself into a particular style or artistic current to keep her creative freedom intact.
For more than 25 years, she has been in a permanent research work to satisfy her, curiosity and especially to avoid boredom in repetitive gestures.
She offers us various works sometimes abstract or figurative, according to the materials used or according to her inspiration of the moment. However, she keeps a certain coherence in her work by the choice of light subjects and by the shimmering colors she uses.
Her philosophy of life, her enthusiasm, her joie de vivre are reflected in these works.
