BIOGRAPHY

Charlotte Widmark is a passionate artist who channels her inspiration through painting, expressing a part of herself that might otherwise remain unseen. Her motivation stems from the joy of creation and the desire to share her inner world with others. Painting serves as a means to articulate and process complex emotions, becoming a necessary outlet that brings her both joy and purpose.
With a diverse exhibition history that includes showcases in New York, and various towns and locations in the north of Sweden, Charlotte aims to exhibit her work at least once a year. Since 2013, she has held a co-ownership position at Galleri1, a gallery owned by lokal artists in Skellefteå.

Working primarily with acrylics, Charlotte enjoys experimenting with different techniques such as oil, ink, graphite, watercolor, and charcoal. Her artistic style is characterized by its variability, reflecting her spontaneous approach to painting and the constant exploration of new methods.
Charlotte’s art is intended to evoke emotions, bring joy, and inspire contemplation. Drawing inspiration from people, nature, moods, and music, she creates pieces that resonate with a diverse range of influences, making her artistic journey both personal and captivating.
