BIOGRAPHY
Channell Scott is a self-taught Abstract Artist born in London, England. However, I was raised in Far Rockaway, Queens, New York. However, my surroundings were not easy, so I used art as an escape. Growing up with Jamaican grandparents gave me a deeper understanding of my Caribbean roots, and also helped me in particular with the use of bold colors in my works. My goal as an Artist is to continue to create unique art and concepts that are accompanied with eclectic colors to ignite the mind and soul. I am an Artist who will always think outside the box. I am an Artist who will have you think outside the box.

I am proud to say I am a self taught artist based in New York/Miami, with a work ethic entailed of hard work and a immense passion for art. I have had the honor in my journey to exhibit for American Airlines, domestically in the U.S. alongside other exhibitions, and internationally.
STATEMENT
I always strive for originality in my work, but most importantly I want my work to resonate with the audience. I want to capture the mind and soul, and ignite curiosity, that is the beauty of art. I am strongly influenced through my works by Picasso, Matisse, and Miro. My love I share for the surrealism period is expressed throughout my works.
