BIOGRAPHY
I am a Peruvian artist based in Lima. My work focuses on exploring high relief, texture, and color. As an integral part of my culture and heritage, color holds a fundamental place in my practice, emerging as an element of great power and presence. It is important to note that the use of color and texture plays a central role in the vast majority of my works, as it reveals the vibrant, chaotic life of my country—and, through that, its history.

My academic background began with studies in Communications and Photography. However, my interest in creating relief-based paintings emerged through experimentation and a desire to transform photographic images by giving them new forms, volume, texture, and materiality.
STATEMENT
As self-taught artist, my practice has been shaped by personal experience, research, and an ongoing commitment to independent learning. Throughout my creative process, I have often drawn inspiration from my culture, history, and roots to explore and bring new possibilities to life, allowing curiosity and the desire to create to guide the development of my work—ensuring that every piece possesses a unique spirit of its own to share.
