BIOGRAPHY
Zübeyde Çelik is a contemporary Turkish painter whose works reflect the influence of the Impressionist movement. She is internationally recognized for her significant and groundbreaking achievements in the art world.
Zübeyde Çelik, emphasizing the importance of soil and wheat for climate change and a sustainable world, depicts vast wheat fields and working farmers in her works. The artist uses oil paint in all of her pieces.
Zübeyde Çelik collaborated with Ayhan Türker Studios. The artist depicts nature before and after climate change, wheat fields, farmers working in the fields; arid lands, damaged wheat, ears of grain, and the farmers and women tirelessly working the soil. She emphasizes the importance of cultivating the land and adapting agriculture to climate change, with the aim of leaving a livable world for future generations.
Artist Zübeyde Çelik, using the impasto technique in her works, creates a three-dimensional, vibrant, and tactile sensation by depicting paths in wheat fields with impressionistic influences and an incredible perspective. She bears witness to a miracle reflecting the productivity, fertility, life-giving spirit, and power of women in Anatolia since the time of Cybele.
The artist, depicting the long paths of crops in wheat fields with magnificent perspective, conveys to the viewer the skillful brushstrokes and the distinctive yellow color of his art.
