BIOGRAPHY

I was born in Argentina, august 23rd 1975, and had the opportunity to live in the US as a child, later in Peru right after my marriage and in Mexico, where I live now, since we moved in 2009 because of my husband’s work.

In each of these countries I experimented different sides of art: drawing, design, photography, painting…

I have always loved to draw and paint but I decided to study civil engineer. After finishing, I studied Interior Design and Photography, which brought me closer to my creative side. In Monterrey, Mexico, was when I started painting.

I began in a beautiful and warm studio where I discovered and experimented different techniques, like collage, dripping, prints among others. Other studios followed where I learned color, drawing and water color.

The Pandemic gave me the opportunity to start my own studio, and I believe watercolor has influenced me very much, all though I continue to play and experiment different techniques, like sewing, collage, use of pigments and the use of acrylics as watercolor. I love the mixture of different techniques.

Always inspired by who I am and what I see…

STATEMENT

For me painting is a way of being free, I see no limits, I see art as a way of freeing the spirit with in me. My energy and emotion, my experience, my history, my curation, my way of seeing things are all involved.
We all have a unique way of seeing the world, which makes each one of us select what captives our attention, and that is what inspires my work.
It’ s a process where I can be my self, I can give my self the luxury of play, experimentation, trying new processes of creation, materials, techniques…and in this interesting way an art piece is created, that is a reflection of me in that moment in time…
