BIOGRAPHY
Sienna Sanchez (b. 2001) is a figurative representational artist based in Winter Haven, Florida. Born and raised in Queens, New York, she began drawing at an early age, inspired by her uncle’s graffiti. Sanchez attended the High School of Art and Design (2015) and later earned her A.A. from Broward College (2021). A largely self taught artist, she pursued classical training at Miami International Fine Arts (2024) to refine her technique. After marrying, she relocated to Central Florida with her husband, where she now paints from her home studio. Sanchez’s work blends traditional mastery with a modern sensibility. She has exhibited in numerous groups shows in local and national galleries. Recently, her piece Daydream won Best in Show at the 53rd Annual Lakeland Arts Association Exhibition and earned her a feature on Fox News for its striking realism, masterful execution and emotional depth. Sienna’s work is available directly through the artist’s website, siennasanchez.com.

STATEMENT
I am a figurative representational artist working in oil, charcoal, and graphite. My work focuses on realism through a contemporary perspective, combining traditional techniques with an exploration of self expression and self perception. I am drawn to beauty in all its forms and use portraiture and the human figure to explore themes like femininity, identity, human nature, and storytelling. Many of my pieces come from personal experiences, giving my work a sense of intimacy and emotion. I am especially interested in capturing the subtle beauty between men and women. I aim to create art that values the process of making as much as the finished piece. Through impressionistic realism, I hope to engage viewers with vivid color, expressive marks, and interesting subject matter, balancing technical skill with energy and emotion.
