Pierre Massé [ R-PI ]
My name is Pierre Massé and you can call me RP (R-Pi in French). Born in the le Mans, I live in Paris since 20 years. I’m currently based in a workshop near Paris. My relationship with visual art began with graffiti in the 90s. I subsequently became a letter painter until be creative director of an advertising agency.

STATEMENT
My work goes straight for simply Hard Edge colorful forms, highlighted hard edge dripping. I Call it « Sharp Dripping ». My drips are an expression of several things… they can be a nod to graffiti and street culture, or an illustration of our times. And sometimes they’re just a simple geometrical shape.An extension of me, it springs from sincerity and aims for harmony and alignment. It’s the fruit of ceaseless experimentation involving drawing, painting, engraving, and collage.
