STATEMENT

My work is a journey through nature, travel, and emotion. I usually begin with a clear idea or image in mind, though the blank canvas often challenges me to discover new directions. The evolving forms on the canvas guide me toward outcomes that often diverge from my initial vision. My practice embraces this fluidity, resulting in works that remain rooted in contemporary abstraction while infused with expressionist touches. Each piece reflects both intention and spontaneity, allowing the dialogue between gesture and form to shape the final composition.
Colors are central to my practice—their harmony fuels my imagination and transforms lived experiences into emotions that viewers can connect with in their own way.
Working with combine techniques is always an exploration, yet experimentation pushes me to develop each idea further. Spilled acrylic and oil paints, layered with textures created from glue and sand, add dimensionality and structure to the canvas. These elements evoke traces of lived moments, transforming the surface into a record of both memory and emotion.
Each season brings me new inspiration. In my recent works, the sensations and fragrances of nature dominate, awakening a sensual energy that flows into admiration and joy. These paintings are my way of translating the rhythms of the natural world into color and movement, which remind me of renewal and growth.
As in nature, so in life—beautiful things often sprout suddenly, like petals whose tenderness and subtlety bring change, new joys, and fresh beauty. When we look honestly within ourselves, we can sense those petals of light rustling quietly, reminding us they are always present. All we need is the courage to trust them.
For me, every painting is not only an act of creation but also the fulfillment of a long cherished dream, a vision brought to life on canvas.
