ARTSPER

BIOGRAPHY

From a young age, I was drawn to artistic expression, which led me to earn a BFA in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design in New York and begin my career as a graphic designer. After several successful years, I transitioned to fine arts, pursuing a lifelong passion rooted in my childhood. My design background has deeply influenced my artistic practice, refining my understanding of color, composition, and visual storytelling.

I believe art is an intuitive process, where emotions flow naturally onto the canvas. My work explores themes of creation, transformation, and the balance between idealism and reality, reinterpreting the aesthetic order of spaces and memories. Through the interplay of light, shadow, movement, and stillness, I aim to offer viewers new perspectives and emotional connections, inviting them to engage with the world in fresh and meaningful ways.

STATEMENT

My works are rooted in minimal art, yet my method of expression preserves the traces of time and effort invested in each piece, vividly conveying their own stories as if they were alive and breathing. As strands of varying lengths intertwine and overlap under the guidance of my fingertips, shifts in time, space, and my thoughts are expressed in a way that is both simple and richly layered.

Small gaps within the planes of my paintings create unique shadows when exposed to light, adding another dimension to the work. Through the spaces trapped between the layers and the colors formed by the overlapping strands, I aim to explore the infinite and mysterious “spaces of uncertainty.”
