BIOGRAPHY
Jackson Clark is a 24-year-old contemporary painter based in Washington, D.C. Working primarily with acrylics and oil pastels, Jackson’s subject matter is based on the everyday narratives of people in his community. He is a self-taught artist whose inspiration derives from the contributions of Jean-Michel Basquiat and Kerry James Marshall. His background in Psychology gives him an innate ability to foster intimate dialogue and realistic portrayals of human emotion.

STATEMENT
