BIOGRAPHY
My works embrace the fleeting encounters with the unnoticed and forgotten moments of life.
Traces of light, the movement of air, and the silent passage of living beings become quiet reflections within my works.
I focus on pure nature during night , for example, unfamiliiar insects, birds and the wind , and their own vivid world.
These rhythms and resonances intertwine like threads of linen, layered upon the canvas.
Colors and lines overlap and cross, connecting unseem lives that coexist in time, forming a gentle rhythm of existence.

Hyewon Park
I am an artist based in Seoul working in abstract painting.
I used to explore the rhythms of nature through light and color.
I majored in education of art in Hanyang University.
I’ve presented solo and curated exhibitions in Korea and participated in
international art fairs in Miami, Hongkong and Singapore.
STATEMENT
My works express the fleeting beauty of illusion (the quiet moments between
light and shadow.)
Through abstract forms and soft tone and colors, I express the stillness of nature and the harmony found within impermanence.
