BIOGRAPHY

Carolina Baron Biza began her artistic development in 1990 at the Romulo Raggio Museum, receiving her first formal training. From 1992 to 1994 she studied at the Fine Arts Stimulus Association in Buenos Aires, strengthening her technique and exploring new forms of expression. In 2001 she graduated from the University of Buenos Aires Design School, adding a strong conceptual foundation to her work. Between 2003 and 2010 she refined her practice with renowned teachers, studying with Diana Aisenberg and later with Juan Astica. Since 2014 she has lived in Miami, where she continues to develop her artistic vision.

Baron Biza’s participation in collective exhibitions includes a 2005 group show at the Banana Factory, Buenos Aires, followed by exhibitions in 2006 at both Braque Gallery and El Casal de Catalunya. In 2010 she took part in Gallery Nights at the Carlos Regazzoni Atelier, Buenos Aires.
In 2012, acclaimed curator Melissa Boratyn selected Baron Biza to join an important group exhibition at Espacio Godoy, further establishing her presence in the Argentine art scene.

Her work was represented permanently at LA MERSA ART in Buenos Aires until July 2014, when the artist relocated to Miami.

Between 2015 and 2023, her paintings were consistently exhibited at Commenoz Gallery in Miami. Additional exhibitions include:

Individual Exhibitions

Carolina Baron Biza has presented a series of notable individual exhibitions throughout her career. In 2004 she held a featured solo show at the Headquarters of the Contentious Administrative Court of the City of Buenos Aires. Her work continued to gain visibility with individual presentations in 2007 at Tuñón, Buenos Aires, and in 2009 at the CEMIC Medical Center, also in Buenos Aires.

Carolina Baron Biza’s work forms part of distinguished private collections in Argentina, Uruguay, Bologna, Oslo, Mexico City, Miami, and London, reflecting her international reach and the growing recognition of her artistic voice.

In my work I build connections across lines and colors.Through it I strive to capture the delicate balance of fragility, unity and harmonious equilibrium of nature.
