BIOGRAPHY
Born on London 1952. In Leeds from 1972, worked in performance art. Success but grew disillusioned, returned to London abandoning performance. Worked as driver/Transport manager. Built up portfolio in sculpture and applied for an MFA in California.(1986) Was there for four years then had a psychotic episode 1989. Back in London, turning to painting, as I always had drawing as a basis of my work, and worked in many styles due to intermittent bouts of illness. Now consistently producing, small, abstract acrylics.

I have exhibited work internationally. With a background from St. Martin’s, Leeds Polytechnic and UCSB, my practice spans decades, including solo shows in California, group exhibitions in London, Berlin, Vienna, Milan, Venice, Vernice Art Fair and more. And awards such as the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant.
STATEMENT
I make my paintings using very strict parameters. All have a circular form and two lines all capable of any distortion that I choose, but maintaining their integrity. I am fairly traditional, being very concerned primarily with composition, and then, the three colours of the elements. I allow myself great freedom, within the chosen parameters.
