STATEMENT
I am a New York City based mixed media artist and curator whose work centers on color and culture. My practice is shaped by a constant rhythm between New York and Miami, where I travel frequently. The brightness of Miami, combined with my connection to the Caribbean, deeply influences my use of saturated color. My work celebrates joy, resilience, and cultural pride. Recently, I have been exploring pop art, drawing inspiration from Roy Lichtenstein’s graphic forms and bolder visual elements. Beyond creating in my studio, I curate exhibitions and host workshops and art events that expand access to contemporary art and build community through creative expression.
