Andreja is an architect with a passion for all forms of art. A perfectionist who values precision, she also admires abstraction for its freedom. Architecture represents proportion, structure and balance, while painting on canvas is guided by intuition and emotion. Inspired by nature, textures, materials and music, she creates abstract works that reflect her personal experiences and impressions. Painting gives her a space of creative freedom which for her is the beauty of abstraction. She searches for harmony between control and spontaneity, where composition, materials, and colors come together naturally and the final image is led by feeling. Her paintings invite the viewer into a quiet space, where form dissolves into atmosphere and material becomes personal emotion.
