Andrea depicts her subjects with precise monochrome, capturing a timeless and emotional essence, as if they were portraits of souls suspended in time. The background, on the other hand, teems with life, with intense colors and additional materials that invite the viewer to reflect on the complexity of the environment in which these subjects exist.
Each piece generates a visual dialogue, where the intimacy of the human figure contrasts with the dynamic backgrounds. The intervening elements—whether textures, lines, or added materials—break the two-dimensionality of the canvas, creating a visual interplay that stimulates both the sensorial and intellectual. She began painting in 2020, largely self-taught. At the beginning, he took classes with Uruguayan artist Santiago Garcia during 2020 and 2021.
She has participated in exhibitions and fairs in Montevideo, Punta del Este, Buenos Aires, Paris, and Miami.
