BIOGRAPHY
Hori’s works reflect a spontaneous act of imagination, emphasizing expression over form. His will to continually experiment, both with the technique and materiality of painting, create a setting to lean on improvisation when moving from sketch to artwork, seeking inspiration primarily in human behavior.
Through a dark and intense chromatic approach, the author seeks to exploit the irrational and compose a willful distortion. Thus, the viewer is immersed in an infinite interpretative spiral.

Born in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) in 1993, Hori (Adrian Horatiu Dan) is a self-taught, multidisciplinary artist. He graduated art highschool in 2011 (Bachillerato de Artes, Musica y Danza – I.E.S. Pedro de la Luna – Zaragoza/Spain). During 2013-2016, he studied theology at the The Pentecostal Theological Institute in Bucharest. Since 2015, he has been living and working in Turda (Cluj/Romania), and has begun his own activity in the field of painting since 2020.
